Discover how a simple idea turned into a platform that brings unforgettable experiences to thousands every day.
It all started with a question: What if a gift could be more than just a thing?
What if it could be a moment, a feeling, a story someone carries with them for life?
In 2009, our founder, Ethan Clark, a Toronto-based software developer, realized that most gifts people give are quickly forgotten. They gather dust, lose meaning, or never get used. But what about a gift that’s remembered not for what it was, but for how it made you feel?
That’s when the idea for Feelit was born — a Canadian platform built to help people gift experiences instead of objects. From day one, our mission has been simple:
make it easy to give emotions, not things.
We started small — a handful of experiences curated from local vendors in Toronto. But the idea struck a chord. Soon, we launched our first pop-up in the Eaton Centre, and within a year, we were partnering with venues and creators across Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and beyond.
From spa days in the Rockies and romantic photoshoots in Old Montreal, to private chef dinners, skydiving in BC, and hands-on perfume workshops — our catalogue of experiences grew fast. In just over a decade, we’ve expanded our offerings more than fifteenfold.
Today, Feelit connects thousands of Canadians with unique experiences designed to spark joy, deepen relationships, and create lasting memories.
In 2017, we were proud to be recognized as one of Canada’s Most Inspiring Small Businesses and named one of the Top Employers in Tech by a national job board. But awards aren’t what drive us — it’s the stories. The proposal in a rooftop jacuzzi, the sisters who finally took that pottery class together, the birthday skydiving surprise. These are the moments we exist for.
Because we believe the best gifts don’t come in boxes.
They come with a heartbeat. A smile. A “wow, I’ll never forget this.”
So whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or simply showing someone you care — Feelit is here to help you make it unforgettable.
Because in the end, it’s not what you give —
it’s how you make them feel.
