1. Definitions
Feelit – the company that operates the website and provides experience gift certificates in Canada.
Client / Buyer – an individual or business purchasing a certificate.
Recipient – the person who activates and uses the certificate.
Partner / Provider – a third-party experience provider.
Certificate – an electronic or physical gift with a unique code, experience description, and instructions.
Activated Certificate – a certificate that has been activated on the website prior to booking.
Certificate Value – the monetary value of the certificate at the time of purchase.
2. General Provisions
Using the website and purchasing certificates indicates acceptance of these Terms.
Feelit reserves the right to update the Terms without prior notice.
3. Purchase and Delivery
Certificates can be purchased and paid for online.
Delivery options include:
- Instant email delivery (e-certificates)
- Physical delivery (courier in Calgary or Canada Post across Canada)
The purchaser is responsible for providing a correct email address. Feelit is not liable for errors in email delivery due to incorrect addresses.
4. Activation and Booking
The recipient activates the certificate at the /activate section of the website.
During activation, the recipient may:
- Book the selected experience
- Exchange it for another
- Split it into multiple lower-value experiences
- Combine multiple certificates
- Pay extra for a higher-value experience
Once activated, a certificate becomes non-exchangeable for previous options.
Booking is confirmed via SMS and email.
5. Validity Period
Certificates are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise.
Seasonal experiences are limited to the duration of the season; expired seasonal experiences may be exchanged.
6. Exchange Policy
Exchange is possible before or during activation:
- For a different experience of equal or higher value
- With additional payment for higher value
- Split into several lower-priced experiences
No exchanges are permitted after booking is confirmed.
7. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Certificates are non-refundable and have no cash value.
If an experience is canceled due to weather or provider-related issues, it may be rescheduled but not refunded.
Unused or expired certificates cannot be refunded or reinstated.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Date changes are subject to the provider's cancellation policy.
Failure to notify within the required timeframe may result in forfeiture of the certificate.
9. Lost or Stolen Certificates
Feelit is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused certificate codes. Treat your certificate like cash — lost codes cannot be reissued or refunded.
10. Restrictions
Some experiences may have limitations based on age, health, weight, or weather.
It is the recipient's responsibility to review all requirements listed on the experience page or at booking.
11. Availability
While Feelit partners only with verified providers, we cannot guarantee the ongoing availability of all experiences.
Descriptions are subject to change. Feelit is not liable for changes made by partners.
12. Liability & Indemnification
You agree to release and indemnify Feelit, its employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or expenses resulting from use of the certificate or experience.
Feelit is not responsible for any additional expenses (transportation, accommodation, etc.).
13. Promo Codes
Only one promo code may be used per order.
Codes are valid for a limited time and may be cancelled without notice.
14. Legal Jurisdiction
Feelit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Maximum liability is limited to the certificate’s face value.
By using the site or activating a certificate, you agree to be governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. All disputes are subject to the courts of Alberta.
15. Intellectual Property
All website content is the property of Feelit. Reproduction is prohibited without written permission.
16. Inclusivity
We welcome customers with disabilities. If an experience is not accessible, Feelit will allow an exchange for another of equal value.
17. Modifications
Feelit may modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms take effect upon publication.
18. Offer Acceptance
This document constitutes a public offer under Canadian civil law. By placing an order or activating a certificate, the user accepts these Terms.
